A Magyar K\u00f6zgazdas\u00e1gi T\u00e1rsas\u00e1g (MKT) a magyar k\u00f6zgazd\u00e1szok legr\u00e9gebbi \u00e9s legnagyobb szakmai szervezete, k\u00f6zhaszn\u00fa egyes\u00fclet. C\u00e9lja a k\u00f6zgazdas\u00e1gi ismeretek terjeszt\u00e9se, a szakmai k\u00f6z\u00e9let fejleszt\u00e9se, a k\u00f6zgazd\u00e1szok \u00e1ltal\u00e1nos \u00e9rdekeinek k\u00e9pviselete. F\u0151k\u00e9nt el\u0151ad\u00e1sokat, szakmai vit\u00e1kat, tal\u00e1lkoz\u00f3kat szervez. Hossz\u00fa \u00e9veken \u00e1t fenntartott egy saj\u00e1t szakk\u00f6nyvt\u00e1rat is Gy\u0151r\u00f6tt. Tagjai t\u00f6bbnyire egyetemi vagy f\u0151iskolai v\u00e9gzetts\u00e9ggel rendelkez\u0151 k\u00f6zgazd\u00e1szok illetve egyetemi hallgat\u00f3k.<\/p>\n
A Magyar K\u00f6zgazdas\u00e1gi T\u00e1rsas\u00e1got 1894. m\u00e1jus 27-\u00e9n alap\u00edtott\u00e1k, ezzel Eur\u00f3p\u00e1ban is az els\u0151 hasonl\u00f3 szakmai-tudom\u00e1nyos szervezetek k\u00f6z\u00e9 tartozik. A t\u00e1rsas\u00e1got azzal a c\u00e9llal alap\u00edtott\u00e1k meg professzorok, akad\u00e9mikusok, miniszterek, bank\u00e1rok, keresked\u0151k, orsz\u00e1ggy\u0171l\u00e9si k\u00e9pvisel\u0151k, gazd\u00e1k, tisztvisel\u0151k, nagybirtokosok \u00e9s f\u0151rendek, hogy egy\u00fctt kutass\u00e1k a nemzetgazdas\u00e1g felemelked\u00e9s\u00e9nek \u00fatj\u00e1t-m\u00f3dj\u00e1t. A t\u00e1rsas\u00e1g megalakul\u00e1s\u00e1t\u00f3l a sz\u0171ken vett tudom\u00e1nyon t\u00falmutat\u00f3 k\u00f6zgazdas\u00e1gi vit\u00e1k egyik legfontosabb f\u00f3ruma. A szervezet mindk\u00e9t vil\u00e1gh\u00e1bor\u00fat t\u00fal\u00e9lte, hogy azut\u00e1n az \u00f6tvenes \u00e9vek gyanakv\u00f3, minden\u00fctt ellens\u00e9get keres\u0151 szelleme tev\u00e9kenys\u00e9g\u00e9nek \u201efelf\u00fcggeszt\u00e9s\u00e9re\u201d k\u00e9nyszer\u00edtse. Az 1957-ben valamelyest szabadabb\u00e1 v\u00e1l\u00f3 k\u00f6zgazdas\u00e1gi gondolkod\u00e1snak, a korai reformmunk\u00e1k r\u00e9sztvev\u0151inek azonban 1959 december\u00e9ben siker\u00fclt \u00fajj\u00e1\u00e9leszteni\u00fck. Az alatt az \u00e9vtizedek alatt, am\u00edg a \u201emagyar \u00fat\u201d, a \u201emagyar modell\u201d keres\u00e9se haz\u00e1nkra vonta a nemzetk\u00f6zi k\u00f6zfigyelmet, a t\u00e1rsas\u00e1g is lend\u00fcletesen fejl\u0151d\u00f6tt, s az eg\u00e9sz orsz\u00e1gra kiterjed\u0151 szervezetet \u00e9p\u00edtett ki. A rendszerv\u00e1lt\u00e1st k\u00f6vet\u0151en a rendk\u00edv\u00fcl m\u00e9rt\u00e9ktart\u00f3 Magyar K\u00f6zgazdas\u00e1gi T\u00e1rsas\u00e1gra a kor\u00e1bbin\u00e1l valamelyest kevesebb figyelem ir\u00e1nyult, de az elm\u00falt \u00e9vekben folyamatosan n\u00f6vekszik a szerepe \u00e9s a tagl\u00e9tsz\u00e1ma. Az MKT-nak jelenleg t\u00f6bb mint h\u00e1romezer tagja van.<\/p>\n
A Magyar K\u00f6zgazdas\u00e1gi T\u00e1rsas\u00e1g k\u00f6zhaszn\u00fa, f\u00fcggetlen egyes\u00fclet, amely f\u00f3rumain teret k\u00edv\u00e1n adni valamennyi k\u00f6zgazdas\u00e1gi \u00e1ramlat \u00e9s iskola sz\u00e1m\u00e1ra, ugyanakkor fontos feladat\u00e1nak tekinti a szabad szakmai v\u00e9lem\u00e9nynyilv\u00e1n\u00edt\u00e1s el\u0151seg\u00edt\u00e9s\u00e9t. A t\u00e1rsas\u00e1g c\u00e9lja, hogy tagjai r\u00e9v\u00e9n \u00e9s a rendelkez\u00e9s\u00e9re \u00e1ll\u00f3 eszk\u00f6z\u00f6kkel seg\u00edtse a k\u00f6zgazdas\u00e1g-tudom\u00e1ny fejl\u0151d\u00e9s\u00e9t \u00e9s gyakorlati alkalmaz\u00e1s\u00e1t, a t\u00e1rstudom\u00e1nyok k\u00e9pvisel\u0151ivel val\u00f3 kapcsolattart\u00e1st, a k\u00f6zgazdas\u00e1gi gondolkod\u00e1s er\u0151s\u00edt\u00e9s\u00e9t, valamint teret adjon az aktu\u00e1lis gazdas\u00e1gpolitikai d\u00f6nt\u00e9sekhez kapcsol\u00f3d\u00f3 szakmai vit\u00e1knak.<\/p>\n
A t\u00e1rsas\u00e1g harminc szakoszt\u00e1lyt<\/a> m\u0171k\u00f6dtet, \u00e9s csaknem valamennyi megy\u00e9ben vannak helyi szervezetei<\/a>, amelyek rendszeresen el\u0151ad\u00e1sokat, vit\u00e1kat, konferenci\u00e1kat rendeznek. Az MKT legfontosabb rendezv\u00e9nye a K\u00f6zgazd\u00e1sz-v\u00e1ndorgy\u0171l\u00e9s<\/a>, amit \u00e9vente m\u00e1s v\u00e1rosban rendeznek meg. 2026 szeptember\u00e9ben m\u00e1r az 64. v\u00e1ndorgy\u0171l\u00e9st rendezi meg a t\u00e1rsas\u00e1g Egerben. Ugyancsak kiemelked\u0151 a Fiatal K\u00f6zgazd\u00e1szok Orsz\u00e1gos Tal\u00e1lkoz\u00f3ja<\/a>, amit az MKT Ifj\u00fas\u00e1gi Bizotts\u00e1ga<\/a> szervez minden \u00e9v tavasz\u00e1n. A t\u00e1rsas\u00e1g nyitott az internet fel\u00e9 is: online rendezv\u00e9nyei megtekinthet\u0151k a YouTube-on<\/a>, illetve visszahallgathat\u00f3k podcast form\u00e1j\u00e1ban<\/a> is.<\/p>\n A Magyar K\u00f6zgazdas\u00e1gi t\u00e1rsas\u00e1gnak rendk\u00edv\u00fcl fontos k\u00fcldet\u00e9se az akt\u00edv kapcsolattart\u00e1s a hat\u00e1ron t\u00fali magyar testv\u00e9rszervezeteinkkel, az imm\u00e1r t\u00f6bb mint 25 \u00e9ve m\u0171k\u00f6d\u0151 Rom\u00e1niai Magyar K\u00f6zgazd\u00e1sz T\u00e1rsas\u00e1ggal, a 2010 tavasz\u00e1n alakult Szlov\u00e1kiai Magyar K\u00f6zgazd\u00e1sz T\u00e1rsas\u00e1ggal \u00e9s a 2009 december\u00e9ben Szabadk\u00e1n megalakult Vajdas\u00e1gi Magyar K\u00f6zgazd\u00e1sz T\u00e1rsas\u00e1ggal. Az egy\u00fcttm\u0171k\u00f6d\u00e9s\u00fcnk a h\u00e1rom szervezettel nem \u00faj kelet\u0171: a n\u00e9gy szervezet rendszeresen k\u00e9pviselteti mag\u00e1t egym\u00e1s konferenci\u00e1in \u00e9s v\u00e1ndorgy\u0171l\u00e9sein, valamint szorosan egy\u00fcttm\u0171k\u00f6dik potenci\u00e1lis p\u00e1ly\u00e1zati lehet\u0151s\u00e9gek kiakn\u00e1z\u00e1s\u00e1ban.<\/p>\n Mint minden egyes\u00fcletn\u00e9l, \u00fagy az MKT eset\u00e9ben is az egyik legfontosabb bev\u00e9teli forr\u00e1s az egy\u00e9ni \u00e9s jogi tagok tagd\u00edja. The HEA is aimed at disseminating economic knowledge, developing the professional public sphere and representing the general interests of economists. It is primarily engaged in organising presentations, professional discussions and meetings. The HEA\u2019s special library is maintained in Gy\u0151r. The membership of the HEA mostly consists of economists with a university or college degree as well as undergraduate students.\nThe Hungarian Economic Association was established on 27 May 1894 as one of the first professional-scientific organisations of a similar nature in Europe. The Association was founded by professors, academics, ministers, bankers, merchants, MPs, farmers, officials, landowners and noblemen in order to jointly seek the ways of national economic development. The HEA is a major platform of economic discussion beyond the narrow interpretation of science. The organisation, which survived both World Wars, was eventually forced to \u2018suspend\u2019 its activity by the ever suspicious enemy-seeking regime of the 1950s. However, thanks to more liberal economic thinking from 1957 and the activity of the early reformers, the organisation was revived in December 1959. During the decades of searching for a \u2018Hungarian Model\u2019 which attracted international attention the HEA also developed quickly, establishing a countrywide organisation. Following the regime change the extremely moderate Hungarian Economic Association attracted somewhat less attention, however, its role and membership has been growing steadily in recent years. Currently the HEA has over three thousand members.\nThe Hungarian Economic Association is a non-profit independent organisation whose platforms wish to provide scope for every economic direction and school, considering it important to facilitate the freedom of professional opinion. The aim of the organisation via its membership and available tools is to promote the development and practical use of economic science, as well as to enhance relations with the representatives of related sciences and to improve economic thinking, in addition to giving scope for professional discussion related to current economic policy decisions.\nThe HEA has more than twenty-five different sections, as well as local organisations set up in almost every county with presentations, discussions and conferences held on a regular basis. The most important event organised by the HEA is the Itinerant Conference of Hungarian Economists which takes place at a different location every year. In September 2021 the Itinerant Conference of the HEA will be organised for the 59nd time in Szeged. At the same time, the National Conference of Young Economists organised by the HEA Youth Committee every spring is another outstanding event. The Association is open towards the internet as well: its online evenst are streamed via YouTube and can be heard on its podcast channel.\nA highly important mission of the Hungarian Economic Association is to promote active relationship with the Hungarian partner organisations abroad, such as the Association of Hungarian Economists in Romania established more than 25 years ago, the Association of Hungarian Economists in Slovakia established in the spring of 2010 and the Association of Hungarian Economists in the Province of Vojvodina, which was established in Subotica in December 2009. HEA\u2019s cooperation with these associations is not a recent one: the four associations have been represented at each other\u2019s conferences and itinerant sessions on a regular basis and they have been working in close partnership exploiting potential tendering opportunities. The Conference for Young Hungarian Economists in the Carpathian Basin was jointly organised for the fifth time in the autumn of 2015.\nSimilarly to other associations, a major source of income is supplied by membership fees paid by HEA\u2019s individual and legal members. Of the former, the membership fee for active workers is HUF 10,000, while retired members, full-time students and maternity leave takers pay HUF 5,000 annually. Legal entities with a HEA membership support the organisation based on individually established membership fees. In recognition of our activity, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the National Bank of Hungary provide yearly contributions, and the offered 1% of our supporters\u2019 personal income tax represents another important source of income for the HEA.\nOur members with a HEA Membership Card bearing the EDC logo are entitled to significant purchase discounts at more than one thousand stores and service provides across the country.
