{"id":11664,"date":"2024-03-21T15:26:24","date_gmt":"2024-03-21T14:26:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mkt.hu\/?p=11664"},"modified":"2024-04-09T12:05:11","modified_gmt":"2024-04-09T10:05:11","slug":"20-eve-az-europai-unioban-es-a-jovo-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mkt.hu\/en\/2024\/03\/21\/20-eve-az-europai-unioban-es-a-jovo-2\/","title":{"rendered":"20 years in the European Union &#8211; and the future&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>20 years in the European Union &#8211; and the future&#8230;<\/strong> <\/em>This is the title of the second closing conference of the Hungarian Economic Association&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/eu20.blog.hu\/\">conference series<\/a> on the 20 years of Hungarian EU membership, jointly organised with the Representation of the European Commission in Hungary and Europa Pont, to be held on <strong>Monday, 29 April 2024, from 2 pm<\/strong> at the Europa Pont conference room (1024 Budapest, L\u00f6v\u0151h\u00e1z u. 35.).<\/p>\n<p>The speakers of the first block of the conference will be <strong>Oliver R\u00f6pke<\/strong>, President of the European Economic and Social Committee; <strong>Tibor Navracsics<\/strong>, Minister of Public Administration and Regional Development; and <strong>\u00c1rp\u00e1d Kov\u00e1cs<\/strong>, Professor, former President of the State Audit Office and the Fiscal Council, Honorary Honorary President of the Hungarian Economic Association. Moderator: <strong>Gyula Pleschinger<\/strong>, member of the Monetary Council and President of the Hungarian Economic Association. The participants will be welcomed by the Head of the Representation of the European Commission in Hungary.<\/p>\n<p>The participants of the round table discussion following the introductory presentations are <strong>P\u00e9ter Szal\u00f3<\/strong>, regional planner, former State Secretary, former President of the National Development Office; <strong>M\u00e1ria Csutora<\/strong>, professor at Corvinus University of Budapest, President of the Environmental Economics Section of the HEA and <strong>P\u00e9ter Heil<\/strong>, expert of the European Parliament, Vice President of the Development Policy Section of the HEA. The discussion will be moderated by <strong>Etele Bar\u00e1th<\/strong>, former Minister for European Affairs, member of the HEA&#8217;s Board and President of the Development Policy Section.<\/p>\n<p><em>The event is free of charge, but registration is required in advance due to the capacity of the room.
