In connection with the forthcoming Hungarian EU Presidency, the HUN-REN Institute of World Economics will organise an international conference entitled Changes and Challenges in the European Union in cooperation with the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) and the Trans European Policy Studies Association (TEPSA) on 13-14 June 2024 at the KRTK building (1097 Budapest T\u00f3th K\u00e1lm\u00e1n u. 4.).<\/p>\n
In the run-up to the Hungarian EU Presidency, the conference will feature speakers in sessions on topics such as the competitiveness of the EU and its Member States; the future of EU enlargement policy; migration, geopolitical security and demographic challenges; convergence and the EU budget; and, of course, the results and experiences of the last major enlargement of the EU 20 years ago.<\/p>\n
