{"id":11954,"date":"2024-06-19T15:00:44","date_gmt":"2024-06-19T13:00:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mkt.hu\/?p=11954"},"modified":"2024-06-19T13:53:04","modified_gmt":"2024-06-19T11:53:04","slug":"nemzetkozi-gazdasag-szakosztaly-maradt-az-elnok","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mkt.hu\/en\/2024\/06\/19\/nemzetkozi-gazdasag-szakosztaly-maradt-az-elnok\/","title":{"rendered":"Election at the International Economy Section"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The HEA&#8217;s International Economy Section elected<strong> Tam\u00e1s Galambos<\/strong>, Managing Director of Kelso Capital Ltd., former Deputy Secretary General of HEA and former Chairman of the Youth Committee, as its President for another three-year term by unanimous vote.<\/p>\n<p>At the online election, which ended on Wednesday at noon, the voting members voted for another three-year term of office for <strong>Patr\u00edcia Kov\u00e1cs<\/strong>, Master Lecturer of Finance and Accounting at the Budapest Business University, former Chair of the HEA Youth Committee, who will serve as Secretary of the International Economy Section.<\/p>\n<p>The voting members also unanimously supported the following experts as members of the HEA International Economy Section for the next three years: <strong>Attila Bartha<\/strong>, Associate Professor of the Institute of Economics and Public Policy of the BCE, Senior Research Fellow of the ELKH Research Centre for Social Sciences; <strong>Zsolt Becsey<\/strong>, Deputy Head of the Institute of Social Sciences and International Studies at the K\u00e1roli G\u00e1sp\u00e1r Reformed University, former Member of the European Parliament; <strong>M\u00e1ria Csat\u00f3<\/strong>, economist; <strong>Bal\u00e1zs Ferkelt<\/strong>, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Foreign Trade of the Budapest Business University, Head of the School of International Relations of the Mathias Corvinus Collegium; <strong>Ildik\u00f3 Kov\u00e1ts-Sz\u00e9plaki<\/strong>, economist, former staff member of the European Parliament; <strong>J\u00e1nos L\u00f6blin<\/strong>, international economic consultant; <strong>Iv\u00e1n Ny\u00edri<\/strong>, economist, Honorary Honorary President of the Section; <strong>Csaba P\u00f3lyi<\/strong>, Ambassador-at-Large; <strong>Gy\u00f6rgy R\u00e9tfalvi<\/strong>, Managing Director of ExportHungary Ltd; <strong>R\u00f3bert Scherczer-K\u00e1roly<\/strong>, Foreign Economic Attach\u00e9 of the Embassy of Hungary in Belgrade, and <strong>Rita Sz\u00e9p-T\u00fcske<\/strong>, Deputy Director General for Investment Promotion and Promotion of the HIPA National Investment Promotion Agency.<\/p>\n<p><em>We congratulate the members of the International Economy Section on their election and wish them every success in their work!<\/em><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The HEA&#8217;s International Economy Section elected Tam\u00e1s Galambos, Managing Director of Kelso Capital Ltd., former Deputy Secretary General of HEA and former Chairman of the Youth Committee, as its President for another three-year term by unanimous vote.
