The Hungarian team did very well in the international final of the International Economics Olympiad in Olympia, Greece, where \u00c1goston Dud\u00e1s was among the top 10 out of more than 90 competitors from 19 countries. In the oral round, he had to speak to an international jury about monetary policy. With his result, he came 9th overall and won the gold medal.<\/p>\n
Szabolcs Andr\u00e1si and \u00c1d\u00e1m P\u00e1li were silver medallists, finishing in 11th-30th place. Bence Moln\u00e1r won a bronze medal, which was awarded to the 31-50th place finishers, and Krist\u00f3f Kett\u0151s also performed well.<\/p>\n
The prestige of the competition is reflected by the fact that 80,000 students from four continents took part in this year’s competition, with the first prize being awarded by Kostis Hatzidakis, Minister of Economy and Finance of Greece.
