His life and work will be commemorated by his former friends and colleagues in an online discussion organised by the Demographic Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) <strong>on Thursday, 7 November 2024, from 14:30<\/strong>. The discussion will be available live on the HEA YouTube channel.<\/p>\n<p>Participants of the conversation are <strong>J\u00f3zsef Benda<\/strong>, President of the Demography Section of the HEA; <strong>Katalin Botos<\/strong>, economist; <strong>K\u00e1roly Bozsonyi<\/strong>, Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Demography of the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (HCSO); <strong>Gyula Fekete<\/strong>, statistician, Member of the Board of the Demographic Section of the HEA; <strong>Iv\u00e1n R\u00f3bert G\u00e1l<\/strong>, Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Demography of the HCSO; <strong>P\u00e9ter Halmai<\/strong>, academic, President of the Economic Policy and Theory Section of the HEA; <strong>\u00c1ron Kincses<\/strong>, President of the HCSO; <strong>Katalin Kov\u00e1cs<\/strong>, Senior Research Fellow at the Population Research Institute of the HCSO; <strong>J\u00e1nos I.
