This was the title of a study by <strong>L\u00e1szl\u00f3 B\u00f3dis<\/strong>, Deputy State Secretary for Innovation of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation, CEO of the National Innovation Agency and <strong>\u00c1d\u00e1m Kiss<\/strong>, President of the National Research, Development and Innovation Office, published in the <a href=\"https:\/\/hitelintezetiszemle.mnb.hu\/sw\/static\/file\/fer-24-1.pdf\">March 2025 issue<\/a> of the Financial and Economic Review. In connection with this paper, the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) and the Financial and Economic Review are organising a panel discussion in a hybrid format <strong>on Wednesday 16 April 2025 at 14:00<\/strong> at the L\u00e1mfalussy Conference Centre of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank, Krisztina k\u00f6r\u00fat 55, Budapest. The event will be streamed live on the <a href=\"https:\/\/youtube.com\/live\/BM5KzcApSE8\">HEA&#8217;s YouTube channel<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At the beginning of the event, <strong>Barnab\u00e1s Vir\u00e1g<\/strong>, Deputy Governor of the MNB, Chairman of the Editorial Board of the Financial and Economic Review and member of the Hea&#8217;s Competitiveness Section will welcome the audience. After the welcome speech, <strong>L\u00e1szl\u00f3 B\u00f3dis<\/strong> will briefly present the main conclusions of the study. The authors, <strong>L\u00e1szl\u00f3 B\u00f3dis<\/strong> and <strong>\u00c1d\u00e1m Kiss<\/strong>, and <strong>Zsolt Szalay<\/strong>, Associate Professor at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and <strong>Gergely Baksay<\/strong>, Managing Director of the MNB and Chairman of the Competitiveness Section of the HEA will participate in the panel discussion following the introductory presentations. The event will be moderated by <strong>P\u00e9ter F\u00e1ykiss<\/strong>, Head of Department at Budapest Metropolitan University and Director of International Business Development at HOLD Fund Management.<\/p>\n<p><em>In view of the capacity of the room, personal participation is subject to prior registration. Please register in advance at <a href=\"mailto:hitelintezetiszemle@mnb.hu\"><strong>hitelintezetiszemle@mnb.hu<\/strong><\/a> by 18.00 on Monday, 14 April 2025 at the latest.
