The event will take place on <strong>Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 3:00 PM (CET)<\/strong> via <strong>Webex<\/strong> and on the <strong>MKT YouTube channel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants in the discussion \u2013 <strong>Barna Bod\u00f3<\/strong>, Associate Professor at the Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania; <strong>Andr\u00e1s L\u00e1szl\u00f3 K\u00f3sa<\/strong>, Director of the Liszt Institute in Bucharest; <strong>Gy\u00f6rgy Csepeli<\/strong>, Professor Emeritus at ELTE University; <strong>B\u00e9la Borsi-K\u00e1lm\u00e1n<\/strong>, University Professor and Doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA); and <strong>Zolt\u00e1n Rost\u00e1s<\/strong>, Professor at the University of Bucharest \u2013 will explore how the Hungarian minority in Romania, which numbered 1.6 million at the time of the Treaty of Trianon and now barely exceeds one million, lives today, and what the next fifty years might bring for them from a demographic perspective.
