This is the title of the professional roundtable discussion organized by the <strong>Demographic Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA)<\/strong> on <strong>Thursday, November 27, 2025, from 9:30 a.m.<\/strong>, to be held on <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/magyarkozgazdasagitarsasag.my.webex.com\/magyarkozgazdasagitarsasag.my\/j.php?MTID=m4c4172989c4150bbf16ab7cb2394ba6a\">Webex<\/a><\/strong> and the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/youtube.com\/live\/4gX6asfUPJs\">HEA YouTube channel<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The participants of the discussion \u2014 <strong>J\u00e1nos Sz\u00e9kely<\/strong>, theologian, Bishop of the Diocese of Szombathely, President of the Hungarian Catholic Bishops\u2019 Conference; <strong>Katalin Botos<\/strong>, economist, university professor, former minister; and <strong>J\u00f3zsef Benda<\/strong>, socialization researcher and President of the HEA&#8217;s Demographic Section \u2014 will address questions such as: <em>What social and economic structures hinder sustainable development and human flourishing? Why is the population of the developed world declining?
