The outlook for the U.S. currency and its challengers in a transforming world.<\/em><\/strong> Under this title, the Financial Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (MKT) is organizing a professional roundtable discussion on <strong>Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 10:00 a.m.<\/strong>, at the MKT community space (ELTE Faculty of Law, Building B, 1053 Budapest, Kecskem\u00e9ti u. 10\u201312, 4th floor, Room 403) and on the MKT YouTube channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The opening presentation of the event will be delivered by <strong>Bal\u00e1zs Sp\u00e9der<\/strong>, Head of Department at the Hungarian National Bank. The participants of the subsequent roundtable discussion\u2014alongside Bal\u00e1zs Sp\u00e9der\u2014will be <strong>Andr\u00e1s Bethlendi<\/strong>, Associate Professor and Head of Department at the Department of Finance of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, Budapest University of Technology and Economics; <strong>Vivien Czeczeli<\/strong>, Researcher at the Institute for Economic and Competitiveness Research of the University of Public Service; and <strong>P\u00e1l P\u00e9ter Kolozsi<\/strong>, Deputy CEO of the Government Debt Management Agency and President of the Financial Section of the MKT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event can be followed live on the MKT YouTube channel via the following link:<br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=iA3BmnhEFXQ\"><strong>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=iA3BmnhEFXQ<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Personal attendance at the event is free of charge; however, due to the capacity of the venue, prior registration is required.
