The leadership election of the Financial Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (MKT), which closed at midnight on Tuesday, brought no changes to its executive board. Members of the MKT\u2019s largest section re-elected the Section\u2019s President, Kolozsi P\u00e1l P\u00e9ter\u2014Deputy CEO of the Government Debt Management Agency and Senior Research Fellow at the University of Public Service\u2019s Institute for Economic and Competitiveness Research\u2014for another three-year term without any votes against and with two abstentions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Similarly, Fellner Zita, Senior Economic Analyst at the National Bank of Hungary, was re-elected as Secretary of the Section without any votes against and with two abstentions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With two votes against and three abstentions, voting members also supported the re-election of the following professionals as members of the Executive Board of the MKT Financial Section for another three-year term:
Imre Balogh, CEO of Hranilnica Lon d.d. (Slovenia);
Ilona Hardy, Founding President of the Aranykor Pension Fund;
\u00c9va Heged\u00fcs, Chairman and CEO of GR\u00c1NIT Bank Plc.;
Andr\u00e1s K\u00f3m\u00e1r, Managing Director of the National Deposit Insurance Fund;
Vikt\u00f3ria Nagy, Managing Director of MFB Bank Ltd.;
Ter\u00e9z Katalin N\u00e9meth, financial journalist;
and Istv\u00e1n Palk\u00f3, Editor and Chief Analyst at Portfolio.hu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
