Under the title Human Capital in the European Union<\/em>, the Labour Section of the Hungarian Economic Association organized an online conference on Thursday, 5 February 2026. The introductory presentation was delivered by Istv\u00e1n \u00c1bel, Professor at the Faculty of Finance and Accounting of the Budapest University of Economics and Business, and Orsolya \u00c9va T\u00f3th, Senior Lecturer at the same faculty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Invited discussants included Magdolna Sass, Director of the Institute of World Economics at the Centre for Economic and Regional Studies of E\u00f6tv\u00f6s Lor\u00e1nd University, and Gyula L\u00e1szl\u00f3, Professor Emeritus at the Faculty of Business and Economics of University of P\u00e9cs. The moderator was Emese T\u00f6r\u00f6k, Head of Department and Associate Professor at K\u00e1roli G\u00e1sp\u00e1r University of the Reformed Church in Hungary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
