The Demography Section of the HEA has re-elected socialization researcher J\u00f3zsef Benda as its President for another three-year term. At Wednesday\u2019s officer election event, it was also announced that the voting members had renewed their confidence for another three years in the Section\u2019s Secretary, economist Zsuzsa Fekete Sisakn\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the online election, the Section\u2019s Executive Board was partially renewed. Over the next three years, it will consist of the following professionals: P\u00e9ter Hug\u00f3 Asztalos, economist, Hungarian National Bank; Anita \u00c9l\u0151, economist and journalist, V\u00e1lasz Online; Gyula Fekete, statistician; Tam\u00e1s L\u00e1szl\u00f3, architect and former Member of Parliament; Antal Szabadkai, engineer-economist; J\u00e1nos I. T\u00f3th, philosopher and demographer, University of Szeged; P\u00e9ter P\u00e1l T\u00f3th, demographer and member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
