In the recently concluded online election, voting members renewed their confidence for another three-year term in the section\u2019s president, <strong>Attila Z\u00f6ldr\u00e9ti<\/strong>, honorary university professor. The position of co-president will continue to be held by<strong> L\u00e1szl\u00f3 S\u00e1ndor Vajda<\/strong>, honorary university professor, while the role of secretary will remain with <strong>Endre Szel\u00e9nyi<\/strong>, honorary university professor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on the members\u2019 decision, the executive board of the HEA\u2019s Agricultural and Food Industry Section now includes the following professionals: <strong>T\u00edmea Guzsv\u00e1n<\/strong>, rural development engineer and farmer; <strong>Andr\u00e1s Hal\u00e1sz<\/strong>, associate professor at MATE; <strong>Levente Iv\u00e1nyi<\/strong>, agricultural entrepreneur; <strong>Anik\u00f3 Juh\u00e1sz<\/strong>, scientific advisor at Sz\u00e9chenyi Istv\u00e1n University and former state secretary; <strong>Zsombor P\u00e1ll<\/strong>, economic analyst at the Ministry of Agriculture; <strong>Levente Elem\u00e9r Pint\u00e9r<\/strong>, agricultural modernization expert at the Ministry of Agriculture; <strong>L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Rieger<\/strong>, honorary university professor; and<strong> Istv\u00e1n Tres\u00f3<\/strong>, bank manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to strengthen the scientific foundation of its professional work, the section\u2019s executive board has established a Scientific Council. Its members are <strong>Mikl\u00f3s Ma\u00e1cz<\/strong>, rural development expert; <strong>Istv\u00e1n Kapronczai<\/strong>, researcher; and <strong>G\u00e1bor Udovecz<\/strong>, researcher\u2014the latter two are former directors general of the Research Institute of Agricultural Economics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>We hereby congratulate the renewed leadership of the Agricultural and Food Industry Section and wish them every success in their work!<\/em><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The executive board of the Agricultural and Food Industry Section of the HEA has been strengthened with new members.
