In connection with this article, the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA), its Monetary Policy Section, and <em>Financial and Economic Review<\/em> will host an English-language panel discussion in a hybrid format on <strong>Monday, 29 June 2026, starting at 3:30 p.m<\/strong>. at the MNB Te\u00e1trum Conference Centre (1054 Budapest, Szabads\u00e1g t\u00e9r 8\u20139) and online via the HEA YouTube channel at: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lfTcrY66Yy8\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lfTcrY66Yy8<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event will open with welcoming remarks by <strong>Barnab\u00e1s Vir\u00e1g<\/strong>, Chief Advisor to the Governor of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (MNB), Chairman of the Editorial Board of <em>Financial and Economic Review<\/em>, and Member of the Executive Board of the HEA Competitiveness Section. This will be followed by a brief presentation by the author highlighting the key conclusions of his paper. The participants in the panel discussion following the introductory presentation will be <strong>Massimiliano Castelli <\/strong>and <strong>G\u00e1bor Horv\u00e1th<\/strong>, Senior Economic Expert at the MNB. The discussion will be moderated by <strong>\u00c1d\u00e1m Banai<\/strong>, Executive Director of the MNB, Editor-in-Chief of <em>Financial and Economic Review<\/em>, and Co-Chair of the HEA Monetary Policy Section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Due to the venue\u2019s seating capacity, in-person attendance at the event is subject to prior registration. Interested participants are kindly requested to indicate their intention to attend no later than 12:00 noon on Friday, 26 June 2026, by email to <a href=\"mailto:hitelintezetiszemle@mnb.hu\">hitelintezetiszemle@mnb.hu<\/a>.
