The event is inspired by the recent publication of <em>Systems Come. Do They Go?<\/em> by P\u00e9ter \u00c1kos Bod. The discussion will take place on <strong>Monday, 20 July 2026, at 4:00 p.m.<\/strong> at <strong>Europe Point<\/strong> in Budapest (1024 Budapest, L\u00f6v\u0151h\u00e1z u. 35.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event will also be streamed live on the <strong>HEA&#8217;s<\/strong> YouTube channel at: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=teNZrcA8z2k\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=teNZrcA8z2k<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The participants in the roundtable discussion will be <strong>P\u00e9ter \u00c1kos Bod<\/strong>, Professor Emeritus at <strong>C<\/strong>orvinus University of Budapest and Vice President of the HEA; <strong>P\u00e9ter Halmai<\/strong>, Member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Professor at the Ludovika University of Public Service and the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, and President of the HEA&#8217;s Section for Economic Policy and Economic Theory; <strong>Radov\u00e1n Jelasity<\/strong>, President of the Hungarian Banking Association and Chairman and CEO of Erste Bank Hungary; and <strong>Magdolna Sass<\/strong>, Director of the Institute of World Economics at the HUN-REN Centre for Economic and Regional Studies. The discussion will be moderated by <strong>G\u00e1bor Iv\u00e1n<\/strong>, Director at the Council of the European Union and President of the HEA&#8217;s European Union Section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Due to the limited seating capacity of the venue, in-person attendance is subject to prior registration.
