The event will be streamed live on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@magyarkozgazdasagitarsasag\/streams\"><strong>HEA YouTube channel<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conference will open with a keynote speech by <strong>\u00c9va Heged\u00fcs<\/strong>, President of the HEA and President and CEO of GR\u00c1NIT Bank Nyrt. This will be followed by presentations by <strong>G\u00e1bor Horv\u00e1th<\/strong>, President of the Hungarian Fiscal Council; <strong>Mojm\u00edr Hampl<\/strong>, President of the Czech Fiscal Council (N\u00e1rodn\u00ed rozpo\u010dtov\u00e1 rada); <strong>Daniel D\u0103ianu<\/strong>, President of the Romanian Fiscal Council (Consiliul Fiscal Rom\u00e2nia); <strong>J\u00e1n T\u00f3th<\/strong>, Chairman of the Slovak Council for Budget Responsibility (Rady pre rozpo\u010dtov\u00fa zodpovednos\u0165); and <strong>S\u0142awomir Dudek<\/strong>, President of the Polish Fiscal Council (Rada Fiskalna). The panel discussion of the five fiscal council presidents will be moderated by <strong>Gyula Pleschinger<\/strong>, Honorary Life President of the Hungarian Economic Association. The roundtable discussion of the fiscal council presidents will be held in English, with simultaneous interpretation provided at the venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As has become customary, the afternoon session of the conference will feature presentations of studies prepared for the Fiscal Council by leading researchers, senior analysts and experts from Hungary\u2019s most renowned economic research institutions. The speakers are scheduled to include <strong>Krist\u00f3f Lehmann<\/strong>, Chief Economist of the State Audit Office of Hungary; <strong>Viktor V\u00e1rpalotai<\/strong>, Managing Director of the MNB and President of the HEA Competitiveness Section; <strong>Tam\u00e1s Is\u00e9py<\/strong>, Head of the Macroeconomic Business Unit at Sz\u00e1zadv\u00e9g Gazdas\u00e1gkutat\u00f3 Zrt.; <strong>P\u00e1l Bely\u00f3<\/strong>, Managing Director of ECO-VISTA Kft.; <strong>\u00c9va Pal\u00f3cz<\/strong>, CEO of Kopint-T\u00e1rki Zrt. and Vice President of the HEA; <strong>Ilona Cserh\u00e1ti<\/strong>, Associate Professor at the Smarter Work for a Better Life Research Centre of Corvinus University of Budapest; <strong>R\u00e9ka Doma<\/strong>, financial markets analyst at Innovat\u00edv K\u00f6zgazdas\u00e1gi Megold\u00e1sok\/OG Research; <strong>D\u00e1niel Moln\u00e1r<\/strong>, Senior Analyst at the Centre for Economic Analysis of MGF\u00dc; <strong>Magdolna Csath<\/strong>, University Professor and President of the HEA Innovation Section; <strong>P\u00e9ter Halmai<\/strong>, Member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and President of the HEA Economic Policy and Economic Theory Section; and <strong>L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Moln\u00e1r<\/strong>, Senior Research Fellow at GKI Gazdas\u00e1gkutat\u00f3 Zrt. The afternoon session will be chaired by <strong>G\u00e1bor Horv\u00e1th<\/strong>, President of the Fiscal Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conference will be streamed live on the HEA YouTube channel.
