{"id":18674,"date":"2026-10-16T10:29:41","date_gmt":"2026-10-16T08:29:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mkt.hu\/?p=18674"},"modified":"2026-10-16T10:37:13","modified_gmt":"2026-10-16T08:37:13","slug":"kinek-kedvez-a-vagyonado","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mkt.hu\/en\/2026\/10\/16\/kinek-kedvez-a-vagyonado\/","title":{"rendered":"Who Benefits from a Wealth Tax?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Who Benefits from a Wealth Tax?<\/em><\/strong> Under this title, the Environmental Economics Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA), in cooperation with the Clean Air Action Group, is organising a roundtable discussion on <strong>Tuesday, 3 November 2026, at 2:00 p.m.<\/strong> The event will take place at the HEA Community Space (ELTE Faculty of Law, Building B, 4th floor, Room 403, 10\u201312 Kecskem\u00e9ti \u00fat, Budapest 1053) and will be streamed on the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=tiP_hlPtuqE\">HEA YouTube channel<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The panellists will be <strong>Andr\u00e1s Luk\u00e1cs<\/strong>, President of the Clean Air Action Group; <strong>Zolt\u00e1n Pog\u00e1tsa<\/strong>, Associate Professor at the University of Sopron; and <strong>Zsolt Horv\u00e1th<\/strong>, policy officer at the Clean Air Action Group, economist, agricultural engineer and environmental engineer. The discussion will be moderated by Mih\u00e1ly Dombi, Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Sustainability, Faculty of International Management and Business, Budapest University of Economics and Business, and a member of the board of the HEA&#8217;s Environmental Economics Section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The discussion will be streamed live on the HEA YouTube channel at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=tiP_hlPtuqE\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=tiP_hlPtuqE<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Attendance in person is free of charge, but advance registration is required due to the venue&#8217;s limited capacity.
