\u2018Market Economies in the European Union\u2019<\/strong> <\/em>is the title of a book by Be\u00e1ta Farkas<\/strong>, Professor of the University of Szeged, recently published by Akad\u00e9miai Kiad\u00f3. (The English version edition of the book was published in October 2016 by Palgrave Macmillan under the title \u2018Models of Capitalism in the European Union\u2019.) The book will be presented during an event organised by the Hungarian Economic Association and the Faculty of Economics, University of Szeged at Europa Point (1024 Budapest, L\u00f6v\u0151h\u00e1z u. 35.), starting at 11 am on Monday, 19 June 2017<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The book will be presented by Katalin Szab\u00f3<\/strong>, Professor Emerita of Corvinus University and L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Murak\u00f6zy<\/strong>, Professor of Szent Istv\u00e1n University. The moderator of the discussion will be \u00c1rp\u00e1d Kov\u00e1cs<\/strong>, Professor of University of Szeged and lifetime Honorary President of the Hungarian Economic Association.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cWe live in times when \u2018humanity seems to have suddenly lost its sense of balance\u2019.
