In what is now a tradition, the Hungarian Economic Association and the Secretariat of the Fiscal Council organised a conference aimed at presenting background studies prepared for the Fiscal Council. The event with an audience of more than a hundred peolpe, was held on 12 October 2017, in the Kossuth Club. Presentations and background studies are downloadable in pdf format at our website.<\/p>\n
Presenters were – among others – Judit Antal, chief economists of Innovative Economic Solutions \/ OG Research; \u00c9va Pal\u00f3cz, CEO of Kopint-T\u00e1rki Zrt and HEA Vice President; G\u00e1bor Karsai, deputy CEO of GKI Economic Research Zrt; Gergely Baksay, director of the National Bank of Hungary; L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Gy\u00f6rgy, chief economist of the economic research institute Sz\u00e1zadv\u00e9g Gazdas\u00e1gkutat\u00f3 Zrt. The conference was be chaired by President of the Fiscal Council and HEA\u2019s Honorary Lifetime President \u00c1rp\u00e1d Kov\u00e1cs.<\/p>\n
