Considering the risks of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Hungarian Economic Association decided to hold its major domestic annual event <a href=\"https:\/\/kozgazdasz-vandorgyules.blog.hu\/2020\/08\/11\/58_kozgazdasz-vandorgyules_iden_a_digitalis_terben\">online in 2020.<\/a> The conference is due to start in a month, on 24 September 2020 with online presentations accessible to the audience free of charge.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the <a href=\"https:\/\/kozgazdasz-vandorgyules.blog.hu\/2020\/07\/21\/58_kozgazdasz-vandorgyules_plenaris_program\">live-stream plenary<\/a> presentations (speakers: <strong>Gy\u00f6rgy Matolcsy<\/strong>, <strong>Mih\u00e1ly Varga<\/strong>, <strong>L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Domokos<\/strong>, <strong>Tam\u00e1s Freund<\/strong>,<strong> Bertalan Farkas,<\/strong> <strong>Zsolt Hern\u00e1di<\/strong>, <strong>L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Parragh<\/strong>&#8230;) and roundtable sessions (bank executives\u2019 roundtable, forecasters\u2019 forum&#8230;) the recording of the <a href=\"https:\/\/kozgazdasz-vandorgyules.blog.hu\/2020\/07\/21\/58_kozgazdasz-vandorgyules_szekciok\">thematic section materials<\/a> of the various sections is currently underway in the HEA Community Centre.<\/p>\n<p>The roundtable discussion of the Fintech and Financial Culture Section of the HEA, <strong><em>Fintech Amidst the Digital Explosion<\/em><\/strong> seems highly promising. The session will be introduced by <strong>Anik\u00f3 Szombati<\/strong>, Executive Director for Digitalisation and Fintech Development of the MNB, and moderated by <strong>\u00c9va Pint\u00e9r<\/strong>, Associate Professor, Strategic Manager of Corvinus Fintech Centre, President of the Fintech and Financial Culture Section.
