{"id":8248,"date":"2021-03-23T08:54:16","date_gmt":"2021-03-23T07:54:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mkt.hu\/?p=8248"},"modified":"2021-04-15T23:59:41","modified_gmt":"2021-04-15T21:59:41","slug":"eu-2021-2027-magyarorszag-eselyei-es-lehetosegei","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mkt.hu\/en\/2021\/03\/23\/eu-2021-2027-magyarorszag-eselyei-es-lehetosegei\/","title":{"rendered":"EU 2021\u20132027: opportunities for Hungary"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Development Policy Section of the Hungarian Economic Association &#8211; in cooperation with the Hungarian Urbanistic Society and the Hungarian Regional Scientific Society &#8211; is organizing an online conference related to the <strong>planning of the EU programming period 2021\u201327<\/strong> on <strong>Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 10 am.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the morning block, starting at 10 am, following the greeting of Gyula Pleschinger, President of HEA, moderated by Etele Bar\u00e1th, President of the Development Policy Section, the invited experts will discuss the development policy principles and results, the expected macroeconomic effects of EU funds and the context of the European Semester process. The introductory lectures of this block will be given by P\u00e9ter Ben\u0151 Banai, State Secretary for Public Finance of the Ministry of Finance, Vice-President of the Public Finance Section of HEA and Judit R\u00f3zsa, Director of the European Commission&#8217;s Directorate General for Structural Reforms. The two presentations will be followed by a roundtable discussion with Bal\u00e1zs Szepesi (Mathias Corvinus Collegium), Zolt\u00e1n G\u00e1l (Hungarian Regional Science Society), Elem\u00e9r Tert\u00e1k (National Economic and Social Council, HEA), Attila Weinhardt (Portfoli\u00f3.hu) and \u00c9va Pal\u00f3cz (Kopint-T\u00e1rki Zrt., HEA). After the panel discussion, Zsolt Becsey (K\u00e1roli G\u00e1sp\u00e1r University, HEA European Union Section), Andr\u00e1s Edel\u00e9nyi (EESC), J\u00e1nos Rechnitzer (Hungarian Regional Scientific Society) and Zolt\u00e1n Gyenes (European Commission&#8217;s Delegation to Hungary) share their thoughts with the audience.<\/p>\n<p>In the afternoon block, from 2 pm &#8211; moderated by Tam\u00e1s Halm, editor-in-chief of the Economic Review and member of the board of HEA, the invited experts will discuss the current state and results of Hungarian preparation and planning for the 2021-27 period. The introductory presentation of this panel will be given by G\u00e1bor D\u00e1nyi, Deputy State Secretary of the Prime Minister&#8217;s Office, responsible for the coordination of EU developments. The presentation will be followed by a roundtable discussion in the afternoon with G\u00e9za Salamin (Hungarian Urbanistic Society, Corvinus University of Budapest), P\u00e9ter Heil (European Parliament), P\u00e9ter Szal\u00f3 (Ministry of the Interior, Village Development Association) and Zsombor Es\u0151ssy (MAPI).
