The conference was to take place in Bali, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic the IEA decided to hold the event in the online space, with the live presentations and panel discussions accessible to the <strong>Members of the Hungarian Economic Association free of charge<\/strong>, subject to prior registration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The international conference will be implemented similarly to the <a href=\"https:\/\/kozgazdasz-vandorgyules.blog.hu\/\">HEA Itinerant Conference of Economists<\/a>: the plenary sessions and panel discussions will be live streamed via Zoom, and the section meetings will be pre-recorded and published at the World Congress website at the start of the conference.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The conference will focus on <em>the relationship between the COVID-19 pandemic and monetary policy<\/em>; <em>fiscal and development policies in the post-neoliberal world<\/em>; <em>the causes and consequences of China\u2019s rise<\/em>; as well as the UN <em>2020 Human Development Report<\/em>.
