David Card, Professor of Economics at the<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">University<\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\"> of California<\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\"> received the prize for his empirical contributions to labour economics. The Labour Section of the Hungarian Economic Association is organising a forum in relation to the Nobel Prize to take place on <strong>Thursday, 9 December 2021, from 2 p.m.<\/strong> via <a href=\"https:\/\/magyarkozgazdasagitarsasag.my.webex.com\/magyarkozgazdasagitarsasag.my\/j.php?MTID=m83666e4d772c30087d59b1ef6cb51788\"><strong><span style=\"color: windowtext; text-decoration: none; text-underline: none;\">Webex<\/span><\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCQn9xUBg0ybiPRfB2QM4QOA\/\"><strong><span style=\"color: windowtext; text-decoration: none; text-underline: none;\">HEA\u2019s YouTube Channel<\/span><\/strong><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Laudation will be delivered by <strong>Gy\u00f6rgy Boda<\/strong>, Emeritus Associate Professor of Corvinus University of Budapest, Managing Partner of Boda &amp; Partners Kft., Board Member of the Labour Section of the HEA. Invited contributors: <strong>Attila Lindner<\/strong>, Associate Professor, University College London; <strong>Ferenc Rolek<\/strong>, Vice President, Confederation of Hungarian Employers and Industrialists; <strong>\u00c1lmos Telegdy<\/strong>, Associate Professor of Corvinus University of Budapest; and <strong>D\u00e1niel Horn<\/strong>, Director of the Institute of Economics, E\u00f6tv\u00f6s Lor\u00e1nd Research Network Centre for Economic and Regional Studies.
