The Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) is organising an online conference to mark the 50th anniversary of publication to take place on<strong> Tuesday, 1 March 2022, 2.00 p.m.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The participants will be welcomed by <strong>Dennis Meadows<\/strong>, Emeritus Professor of the University of New Hampshire, coauthor of The Limits to Growth; <strong>Sandrine Dixson-Decl\u00e9ve<\/strong>, Co-President of the Club of Rome and Professor <strong>Ervin L\u00e1szl\u00f3<\/strong>, President of the Budapest Club. Opening keynote speakers: <strong>Diana \u00dcrge-Vorsatz<\/strong>, physicist, climate researcher and professor of the Central European University (CEU), and <strong>Attila Grandpierre<\/strong>, astrophysicist, Research President of the Budapest Centre for Long-term Sustainability (BC4LS).<\/p>\n<p>Participants of the roundtable session: <strong>G\u00e1bor Bartus<\/strong>, Secretary of the National Council for Sustainable Development; <strong>G\u00e1bor Gyura<\/strong>, Head of Sustainable Finance Department of MNB, the Central Bank of Hungary; <strong>Csaba K\u0151r\u00f6si<\/strong>, Director of Environmental Sustainability, Office of the President of Hungary, and <strong>J\u00e1nos Szl\u00e1vik<\/strong>, Professor Emeritus, Eszterh\u00e1zy K\u00e1roly University.
