During the election, which was held online, the members elected Professor <strong>S\u00e1ndor Kerekes<\/strong>, the former President of the Section, as Honorary President.<\/p>\n<p><strong>G\u00e1bor Harangoz\u00f3<\/strong>, Associate Professor at the BCE, will serve as Secretary of the Section for the next three years. According to the decision of the voting members, the other board members of the Environmental Economics Section for the next three years are <strong>Eszter Torm\u00e1n\u00e9 Kov\u00e1cs<\/strong>, Associate Professor at the Hungarian University of Agricultural and Life Sciences; <strong>Zs\u00f3fia Benedek<\/strong>, Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic and Regional Research; and <strong>Mih\u00e1ly Dombi<\/strong>, Associate Professor at the University of Debrecen.<\/p>\n<p><em>We congratulate the new members of the Presidium of the Environmental Economics Section on their election and wish them every success in their work.<\/em><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>M\u00e1ria Csutora, Professor at the Corvinus University of Budapest, Director of the Research Centre for Sustainability Indicators, was elected President of the Environmental Economics Section of the Hungarian Economic Association.
