In what is now a tradition, the Hungarian Economic Association and the Secretariat of the Fiscal Council organised a conference aimed at presenting background studies prepared for the Fiscal Council. The event with an audience of more than a hundred peolpe, was held on 12 October 2017, in the Kossuth Club. Presentations and background studies are downloadable in pdf format at our website.
Presenters were – among others – Judit Antal, chief economists of Innovative Economic Solutions / OG Research; Éva Palócz, CEO of Kopint-Tárki Zrt and HEA Vice President; Gábor Karsai, deputy CEO of GKI Economic Research Zrt; Gergely Baksay, director of the National Bank of Hungary; László György, chief economist of the economic research institute Századvég Gazdaságkutató Zrt. The conference was be chaired by President of the Fiscal Council and HEA’s Honorary Lifetime President Árpád Kovács.
