From Analogue to Digital – publishing today. What’s next for the Gutenberg Galaxy? It will be the title of a presentation to be delivered by András Sándor Kocsis, Chairman and CEO of Kossuth Publishing Corporation and former president of the Association of Hungarian Publishers and Booksellers at the invitation of the Cultural Economics Section of the Hungarian Economic Association on Friday, 18 May 2018, from 4 p.m. at FUGA Budapest Centre of Architecture (Budapest V. kerület, Petőfi Sándor utca 5.). The event will be moderated by József Birinyi, economist, folk music researcher, President of Section, and President of Hungaricum Association.
In his presentation Mr. Kocsis will share his views on subjects such as the place of contemporary Hungarian literature in global context, the relationship between publishing and the state, funding schemes, structure in the world of books, cooperation between the publishing and printing industries and their economic background, etc.
