HEA’s long-standing member, András Fekete-Győr has been appointed as Secretary General of the European Forum of Deposit Insurers (EFDI) with effect from April 2018. The establishment of the Paris based organisation was supported by the European Commission as well in order to standardise the extremely varied rules of deposit insurance across Europe.
András Fekete-Győr was managing director of the National Deposit Insurance Fund (NDIF) for several years. He has been an active member of the Hungarian Economic Association for 24 years, since April 1994.
