At the event Antal Nikodémus, Head of Department of Digital Economy and Innovation, Ministry of National Economy will provide an overview of Industry strategic programmes to enhance the innovation capacity of companies and to accelerate digital transformation, followed by a presentation delivered by Andrea Szalavetz, scientific advisor of MTA Research Centre for Economic and Regional Studies, Institute of World Economics, entitled Industry 4.0 in Hungary: Expected impacts based on automotive industry experiences. Finally, Dávid Losonci, senior lecturer at Corvinus University of Budapest will share his views on Digital transformation of the Hungarian economy in global context – with a focus on the manufacturing sector. The event will be moderated by György Boda, associate professor at Corvinus University of Budapest.
