The Pragmatic Man is the title of a biography published about István Varga (1897-1962) economist, economic policy expert, posthumous Széchenyi Award winner university professor. The volume will be presented by Péter Ákos Bod, University Professor, Doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and Vice President of the HEA, proofreader of the book, on Monday, 12 November 2018 from 2 p.m. in the HEA Community Centre, 1st floor, Eiffel Palace Office Building (1055 Budapest, Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út 78). The participants of the event will be greeted by Árpád Kovács, University Professor, member of the Monetary Council and lifetime Honorary President of the HEA.
