Adequate solutions to the funding challenges of agriculture 2019 will be the title of a professional consultation forum organised by the Agricultural and Food Industry Section of the Hungarian Economic Association, to be held on Tuesday, 7 May 2019, from 2 p.m. in the HEA Community Centre, Eiffel Palace Office (1055 Budapest, Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út 78, 1st floor).

The professional event will address topics such as the possible extension of VAT reduction, incentive related funding issues, external funding for land distribution, or the impacts of potential EU regulation changes in relation to financing. The participants of the forum will include Zoltán Szentirmay, Head of Department of Agricultural Economics, Ministry of Agriculture; Gábor Kemény, acting Director-General of the Research Institute of Agricultural Economics; István Tresó, Head of Department of Agricultural Development, K&H Bank; and István Szabó, Director of Real Estate, Small Enterprise and Agriculture Division, OTP Bank. Moderator: Attila Zöldréti, President of the Section.

Unlike usual, the forum will not be an open press event.
