On Tuesday the General Assembly of the Budapest Stock Exchange elected Mihály Patai, Vice President of the HEA as the new Chairman of the BSE. Richárd Végh, President of the Responsible Corporate Governance Section of the HEA will retain his post as Chief Executive Officer of the BSE.
On the occasion of his appointment Mihály Patai said: the Stock Exchange will remain an essential instrument of economic development and competitiveness in the future as well, and the MNB wishes to further support its increasing role in Hungarian economy.
We congratulate Mr. Patai on his appointment as Chairman of the Stock Exchange and wish him every success in his work!
