Eszter Horváth, former president of the Zalaegerszeg Youth Organization of the HEA received the Young Economist Award established by the Zala County Organization of the Hungarian Economic Association for the first time during the graduation ceremony of the BBS Zalaegerszeg Faculty of Business Administration on 5 July 2019.
The board of the Zala County Organization decided to establish the HEA Young Economist Award early this year. The award is given to graduates of the BBS Zalaegerszeg Faculty of Business Administration with outstanding academic achievements and exemplary community activity.
For the academic year 2018/19 the HEA presidency decided to grant the award to Eszter Horváth, former graduate student and ex-president of the Zalaegerszeg Youth Organization. Demonstrating exemplary community activity, Eszter Horváth contributed to the achievement of goals set by the BGE Faculty of Business Administration and the Zala County Organization of the HEA, as well as to boosting the reputation of the HEA Youth Committee to a significant degree.
The first ever Young Economist Award was presented by László Berta, Chairman-CEO of Zalaco Zrt. and President of the Zala County Organization of the HEA at the graduation ceremony of the BBS Zalaegerszeg Faculty of Business Administration taking place on 5 July.
