The First Seventy Years (Az első hetven év) is a biography by Árpád Kovács, Lifetime Honorary President of the Hungarian Economic Association, Chairman of the Fiscal Council of Hungary published by Éghajlat Kiadó. The book will be presented from 11 a.m. on Thursday, 7 November 2019, the birthday of István Hagelmayer, former President of the State Audit Office in Budapest, in the Library of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (Budapest V. kerület, Arany János u. 1, 2nd floor Auditorium). Praise for the book and the author will be offered by Gyula Pleschinger, President of the Hungarian Economic Association, Member of the Monetary Council and László Parragh, President of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Participation will be free, subject to prior registration due to limited capacity. Anyone interested in the event should send an email to the address office.mkt@t-online.hu by noon of 5 November 2019.
Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to capacity of the venue.
