The Agricultural and Food Industry Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) specifically addressed the issues of climate change and sustainability during its events organized in 2019. This year’s final event also related to these issues will take place on Tuesday, 10 December 2019, from 3 p.m. at the HEA Community Centre, Eiffel Palace Office (1055 Budapest, Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út 78., 1st Floor).
During the event Győző Kaján, recipient of the János Bolyai Research Scholarship of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, HAS Centre for Agricultural Research, Institute for Veterinary Medical Research will talk about Bird flu and other viral threats to livestock farming in Hungary, followed by István Szűcs, Associate Professor, Director of Institute of the University of Debrecen sharing his thoughts on The impact of global processes on Hungarian agriculture. The event will be moderated by Attila Zöldréti, President of the Agricultural and Food Industry Section.
