The Development Economics Section of the Hungarian Economic Association and the Kandó Club are organising a conference on public and higher education in Budapest. The event will start at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, 4 March 2020, in room 3001 of the Budapest Corvinus University (1093 Budapest, Fővám tér 8).
The first presentation will be given by József Zsengellér, rector of the Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church. Title: Relationship between higher education and public education from the perspective of the Károli Gáspár University. Participants of the subsequent roundtable discussion: József Zsengellér, rector of the Károli Gáspár University; Máté Botos, associate professor and head of department at the Pázmány Péter Catholic University; and Ferenc Makó, acting director of the Kandó Kálmán Faculty of Electric Engineering at the University of Óbuda. Moderator: László Trautmann, associate professor of the Corvinus University, head of the Industrial Policy Research Centre, and chairman of HEA’s Development Economics Unit. The conference will be opened by Zsolt Zsabka, chairman of the Kandó Club and the Industrial Section of the Budapest Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
