The Development Policy Section of the Hungarian Economic Association is organising a discussion on current issues in the European Semester at 15.30 on 23 March 2020 in HEA’s community room in Budapest (2nd floor of the Eiffel Palace Office, 1055 Budapest, Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út 78). Introductory remarks will be made by Gyula Pleschinger, HEA chairman and member of the Monetary Council and Enikő Győri, member of the European Parliament. (On 19 March, our chairman will attend an international panel discussion about the European Semester at the plenary meeting of the European Economic and Social Committee. Mr. Pleschinger was invited by EESC chairman Luca Jahier.) The event on 23 March will be chaired by Etele Baráth, EESC member, former Minister in charge of European matters, and chairman of HEA’s Development Policy Unit. Also on the same occasion, the officials of HEA’s Development Policy Unit will be elected.
