Miklós Kozma, associate professor of the Budapest Corvinus University, responsible for the MBA training was elected as president at the online electoral meeting of HEA’s Industry and Entrepreneurship Section on 31. August. The secretarial tasks of the Section will be performed by Balázs Babarczy, health data analyst of the National Public Health Centre, WHO expert.

Miklós Kozma had obtained his PhD in the topic of Public-Private Partnership in 2012. His main research areas are business models, international business economics and sports economics. His portfolio as a professor includes business strategies and preparatory training courses for competitions to provide solutions for international business cases. He has been a member of the Hungarian Economic Association since 2008. He has been the secretary of HEA’s Industry and Entrepreneurship Section in recent years.

At the electoral meeting, held online due to the coronavirus pandemic risks, the following persons were elected for the Board for the next three-year cycle: Erzsébet Czakó, incumbent president of the Section, Zoltán Jandó, László Kállay, Edina Kálmán, János Kálmán, András Nagy, Zoltán Nagy-György, Gábor Papanek, Filip Puzder and Barna Szemán.

The next event of the Section will be the industry and entrepreneurship section of the 58th Itinerant Conference of Economists. The Round-table discussion under the title of Social Enterprises in the Economic Crisis has been recorded in HEA’s public space in recent days and can be viewed from 24.
