The 58th Itinerant Conference of Economists of September 24-25th organised online was a success: during the two days of the Conference, a total of 32 presenters – among them György Matolcsy, Governor of the National Bank of Hungary and Mihály Varga, Minister of Finance – shared their thoughts with the viewers in live streams. In addition to the live streams, more than 80 professionals in 15 sections participated in the pre-recorded thematic panel discussions -, which are also accessible on our Website.
There cannot be any complaint about viewership either: although we did not have any audience locally, we had the highest number of viewers of all times at our most recent itinerant conference. The Website of the conference was visited by 2,300 persons, and almost 8,800 pages were viewed during the two days alone. There was an even bigger viewership of the live video streams: according to the statistics of YouTube and Facebook, more than 11,400 persons followed the live streams for shorter or longer times, and so far, 1,300 persons have watched the videos of the 15 thematic sections…
