The Association of Hungarian Economists in Romania (RMKT), our sister organisation also organises its XXIX.  Itinerant Conference of Economists this year mainly in the digital space starting at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday 10. October 2020. Presenters at the conference Crisis – Enemy or Opportunity? will take stock of the impacts of the pandemic on public education, the economy and everyday life, as well as the new responses to be given to the challenges. Presenters will discuss the prospects and current status of three different sectors – businesses, macro economy and education – in three panels. In the first panel, Csaba Bálint, member of the Board of the National Bank of Romania, macro-economic analyst and Károly Nagy, General Manager of Promelek will share their thoughts with the audience. In the second panel, László Geréb, associate professor, President of REGA Regional Research Association and Levente Farkas, owner of marketingiskola.ro and Clarity Consulting will deliver their presentations. In the third panel, Levente Tánczos, Assistant Professor of Engineering of the Sapienta Hungarian University of Miercurea-Ciuc, and Tímea Módi, teacher of Bathory Istvan Theoretical High School will discuss the opportunities and challenges in education.
