Macroeconomics, Public Finances in the Time of Coronavirus. This is the title of the traditional joint conference of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) and the Fiscal Council to be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, from 2 p.m. The meeting presenting the analyzing studies prepared for the Fiscal Council will be available on the Webex application and on HEA’s YouTube channel.

Speakers at the event: Judit Antal, Chief Economist, OG Research; Gergely Baksay, Executive Director of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank, member of the HEA’s Board; Éva Palócz, CEO of Kopint-Tárki Zrt., Vice President of HEA; and Gyula Pulay, Head of Supervision of the State Audit Office. The chair of the conference is Árpád Kovács, the chairman of the Fiscal Council, the honorary lifetime president of HEA.
