The Hungarian Banking Association, the Money Compass Foundation and the Ministry of Finance will be organising the Money Week (Pénz7) events in 2021 as well, once again focusing on family finances under the title Conscious Family Finance Management – the Family Budget.
The organisers of the financial and entrepreneurial literacy week are looking for volunteers for the period 1-5 March 2021, i.e. economists to hold lessons on the subject for year 3-4, 5-6, 7-8 and 9-11 students attending primary and secondary schools. The volunteering finance and business professionals will be able to support the Money Week events also in an online format should it be necessary due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Last year more than 900 volunteering economists, including numerous members of the Hungarian Economic Association, supported the Money Week with over 1,200 public educational institutions registered for the events.
