Fiscal Councils in the EU Member States

The recent issue of the Economic Review publishes a comparative study on the activities of fiscal councils in the member states of the European Union. The Hungarian Economic Association, in cooperation with the Editorial of the Economic Review, is organizing an online professional event in connection with this article on Thursday, April 1, 2021, from 10:30 a.m. on the Webex and MKT YouTube channel.

Within the framework of the event, the author, László Jankovics, budget analyst of the European Commission, will present the main findings and results of the study, and then Árpád Kovács, the President of the Fiscal Council and the Honorary Lifetime President of HEA, will share his thoughts and comments on the topic. The moderator of the event will be Tamás Halm, the editor-in-chief of the Economic Review, a member of the board of HEA.
