The impact of the first wave of the coronavirus epidemic on employment and the turnover of companies – this is the title of the study published by János Köllő, scientific adviser of KRTK KTI and Balázs Reizer, researcher of KRTK KTI in the April issue of the Economic Review. The Hungarian Economic Association and the Economic Review are organizing an online concerence on this study on Monday, April 26, 2021 from 2 pm on the Webex and HEA’s YouTube channel.
At the beginning of the event, the authors, János Köllő and Balázs Reizer, will present the main results and findings of the study, followed by Annamária Artner, senior researcher at the KRTK VKI, member of the board of the Labor Section of HEA; Péter Ákos Bod, professor, vice-president of HEA and Éva Palócz, CEO of Kopint Tárki Zrt., vice-president of HEA, share their thoughts on the topic with the audience. The moderator of the event will be József Bagó, Chief Government Counselor, President of the Labor Section of HEA. The participants will be greeted by Tamás Halm, Editor-in-Chief of the Economic Review and a member of the Board of HEA.
