Art as an investment in an uncertain environment – this is the topic of an online professional roundtable discussion organised by the Cultural Economics Section of the Hungarian Economic Association on Wednesday, 23 March 2022, from 2 pm on Webex and on the MKT YouTube channel in connection with the publication of the 2022 Art Investment Index of BÁV.
At the beginning of the event, Péter Fertőszögi, Art Director of BÁV, will present the 2022 Art Investment Index and the results of the survey, followed by invited experts – besides Péter Fertőszögi, György Gajzágó, founding director of the Academy of Contemporary Art Collectors; and Krisztina Kovács, Senior Art Historian of Várfok Gallery, will share their thoughts on the role of art investment in the current uncertain environment and the typical trends and prospects for the market. The discussion will be moderated by József Birinyi, President of the Cultural Economy Section of the MKT.
