Examining the four-day working week – this is the title of an online professional roundtable discussion organised by the Labour Section of the Hungarian Economic Association on Thursday, 15 September 2022, from 14:00 on Webex and on the MKT’s YouTube channel.
Speakers: human ecologist Miklós Antal, head of the MTA-ELTE Lendület New Vision Research Group (Possibilities and sustainability aspects of reducing working time); Tibor T. Meszmann, researcher at the Central European Labour Studies Institute (CELSI) (invited) and Zsolt Király, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Business, Communication and Tourism, Budapest Metropolitan University (Four-day working week in the light of business considerations). The invited speaker is Tamás Székely, President of the Hungarian Chemical, Energy and Allied Workers’ Union. Moderator: Emőke Török, Associate Professor at the Institute of Social and Communication Sciences of the Károli Gáspár Reformed University.
