With recording of the Startup Session of the HEA’s 60th Itinerant Conference, the recording of the sessions has started on Tuesday in the HEA’s community space. The Hungarian Economic Association is organising the largest annual conference of the Hungarian economists in Szeged, Hungary, again with a face-to-face presence, after two conferences held in the online space due to the pandemic.
In addition to the plenary sessions and sections of the conference to be held on 22-23 September 2022 at the József Attila Study and Information Centre of the University of Szeged, we will organise 8-10 pre-recorded roundtable discussions on topics such as climate change and energy, the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy, the current state of precision agriculture, innovation management in the health care industry, trends in the housing market, etc. These discussions will be recorded during these days and will be made available on the website of the conference, as well as on the HEA’s YouTube channel and podcast, from 10am on 22 September.
The first of these talks will focus on the state and prospects of the startup ecosystem in Hungary, where industry experts say there is plenty to talk about. That’s why the Hungarian Economic Association’s Startup Section organised a roundtable discussion on the topic as part of the 60th Economists’ Itinerant Conference. The participants of the roundtable discussion recorded on Tuesday were László Bódis, Deputy State Secretary for Innovation at the Ministry of Culture and Innovation; Péter Bagó, Assistant Professor, Startup Director of the FinTech Center of Corvinus University of Budapest and Tamás Müller, founder of the Women Startup Competition Europe. The discussion will be moderated by Tamás Turcsán, CEO of The Connect East Incubator, founder of Pozi.io and President of the Startup Section of MKT.
The roundtable discussion will be available to watch and listen to on the conference website, as well as on the MKT YouTube channel and podcast on 22 September from 10am.
