The Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) and the Fiscal Council 2022 will organise their traditional joint autumn conference – this year in a hybrid format – to present background studies prepared for the Fiscal Council on Tuesday, 11 October 2022, from 9 am at the conference room of the MNB’s Supervision Center – the former Postapalota – in Budapest (1122 Budapest, Krisztina krt. 6.) and on the HEA’s YouTube channel.
Speakers of the conference are: Árpád Kovács, President of the Fiscal Council, Lifetime Honorary President of the HEA; Gergely Baksay, Executive Director of the Economic Analysis and Competitiveness Department of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank, President of the Competitiveness Section of the HEA; Gyula Zoltán Pulay, Head of Supervision at the State Audit Office of Hungary; Ilona Cserháti, Associate Professor at the Corvinus University of Budapest; Tamás Isépy, Head of the Hungarian Economic Research Institute and Olga Takács, macroeconomic analyst of the company; Katalin Szilágyi, chief economist of Innovative Economic Solutions/OG Research; Éva Palócz, CEO of Kopint-Tárki Zrt., vide president of the HEA; Péter Halmai, academic, economist; Pál Belyó, Managing Director of ECO-VISTA Ltd; Attila Udvardi, managing director of GKI Gazdaságkutató Zrt. and Magdolna Csath, research professor, member of the board of the Competitiveness and IT Section of the HEA, former member of the National Competitiveness Council.
