ChatGPT, a chatbot developed by the artificial intelligence research lab OpenAI, has been in the news for the past few weeks. Millions of people around the world are trying out the system, which Nobel laureate Paul Krugman warned in a December 2022 article would have an impact on academia, including the demand for knowledge-based labour.

The IT Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) will organise a roundtable discussion on the use of artificial intelligence and chatbots on Monday, 13 February 2023, from 14:00 on Webex and on the HEA’s YouTube channel.

The participants of the roundtable discussion will be Ferenc Dietz, President of Gábor Dénes University; Ádám Korbuly, entrepreneur, founder of OrtoGraph, ArchiFM and Miratia; and Sándor Olti, Chief Business Officer of GB Solutions Zrt.. The discussion will be moderated by Ferenc Pongrácz, Regional Director of EIT Health InnoStars, President of the IT Section of the MKT and member of the National Board.
